Various competitions were conducted for B.E. students on account of National Mathematics Day 2022 on 23-12-2022. Power point presentation competition, on the topic “Mathematics in Nature” was conducted in Sri Ramasabhasbhavana. Principal Dr. Mahesh Prasanna K had graced the occasion.

Competition started at 9:30 AM and ended at 12:30 PM. Students had done presentation on different interesting factors related to Mathematics which are found in nature. Dr. Manujesh B J and Dr. Vandana B S were the judges for the competition.

Pencil Sketch competition was held at A326, Sudarshana Building from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Students had portraited Sri Srinivasa Ramanujan beautifully. Prof. Ajith K and Prof. Shishira Krishna S were the judges for the competition.

“Rangometri”- a rangoli competition was also kept for students to encourage their creative thinking. It was conducted from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM on first floor of Sudarshana Building. The theme was “Mathematical rangoli”,and brought out the fervour of the students. Participants worked on their rangoli patterns and colors to bring out their talent. Dr. Shwethambika P, Prof. Thejaswini L P, Dr. Jeevitha B K were the judges for the competition. The results would be formally announced by considering judges decision on Monday 26/12/2022.
