Objectives:

1. To instilling the idea of social welfare in students.

2. To provide service to society without bias and developing capacity to meet emergencies and national disasters.

3. To enable the students to understand the community in which they work.

4. To identify the needs and problems of the community and involve then in problem solving process.

5. To utilize their knowledge in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems.

6. To develop competence required for group living and sharing of responsibility.

7. To gain skills in mobilizing community participation, leadership qualities and democratic attitude.

8. To practice national integration and social harmony.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan the cell regular activities and special camp.

2. Assist and guide for implementation of cell programs at college level.

3. Organizing camp, training and orientation programs for the cell members.

4. To prepare and submit the reports.
