Vivekananda College of Engineering and Technology (VCET) faculty members and students from the MBA and MCA departments participated in Daan Utsav 2024, a noble outreach initiative, on September 26, 2024. The event took place at Anand Ashram in Puttur from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The program commenced with a brief address by Mr. Sadhashiva Pai, Manager of Anand Ashram, who highlighted the various services and activities offered by the ashram. Dr. Robin Manohar Shinde, Director of MBA, and Dr. Jothimani K, Director of MCA, led the delegation.

Students from both departments donated essential medical and surgical items to the ashram, demonstrating their commitment to social responsibility. The visit also provided an opportunity for meaningful interactions between students and ashram inmates, fostering empathy and understanding.

Through this outreach initiative, VCET reinforced its dedication to community service and social causes. The event encouraged students to engage in philanthropic activities, instilling values of compassion and civic responsibility.
