The workshop got started with the inaugural function. Dr. Sunil Kumar B.L. served as the resource person for the event. He is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Canara Engineering College, Bantwal. With over 20 years of teaching experience, he holds a PhD in Face Recognition and specializes in Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, and Compiler Design.

The technical talk Tracing Recursive Programs held at Sri Rama Sabhabhavana was organized by the Department of Computer Science in association with ACES and IEEE VCET Student Branch. The master of ceremony and introduction of guest was done by Sakshi Shetty P and Ananya J N from CSE department. The theme revolved around exploring advanced methodologies and best practices for effectively tracing and debugging recursive functions, aimed at enabling CSE students to gain deeper insights into execution flow and optimize recursive algorithms. It provided an insightful forum for attendees to enhance their understanding of tracing recursive programs, fostering a conducive learning environment for the targeted audience. The event featured interactive sessions, practical demonstrations, and case studies, allowing participants to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios. Dr. Sunil Kumar B L shared valuable insights and expertise, guiding attendees through the complexities of tracing recursive programs with clarity and precision. Attendees engaged in discussions, exchanged ideas, and collaborated on tackling challenges related to recursive algorithm optimization. Overall, the event proved to be a fruitful learning experience, empowering CSE students with invaluable knowledge and skills to excel in recursive programming and algorithmic design.
