The First-Year Department is committed to providing a strong foundation for the students through the guidance of our dedicated faculty members. We regularly organize events such as Mathematics Day, National Science Day, Poster Presentations, Quiz Competitions, Sports, and other co-curricular activities to encourage learning, creativity, and teamwork. These programs offer valuable opportunities for students to develop their skills and showcase their talents.
We strive to create a vibrant and supportive environment that promotes the overall growth of every student. I wish all our first-year students a successful academic journey and a bright future ahead.

The First Year Engineering – Chemistry Cycle serves as a crucial stepping stone in shaping young minds for a successful engineering career. The courses offered during this phase provide a strong scientific and analytical foundation that enables students to understand core engineering concepts and develop problem-solving skills essential for their future studies. The Chemistry Cycle comprises subjects that emphasize the application of basic sciences to engineering, fostering innovation, critical thinking, and a multidisciplinary approach to learning.
Our department is supported by highly qualified and dedicated faculty members who strive to create an engaging learning environment and inspire students to achieve academic excellence. Beyond academics, students are encouraged to actively participate in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Through effective mentoring, faculty members guide students in their academic journey, helping them adapt to the engineering curriculum and realize their full potential. Students are supported for learning with practical knowledge for their over-all development.
We are committed to providing a healthy, supportive, and student-friendly atmosphere that nurtures confidence, creativity, and professional growth. The First Year Engineering-Chemistry Group aims to equip the students with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to excel in their chosen engineering disciplines.
I extend my best wishes to all our students for a rewarding and successful engineering journey.
