The Department of MCA, Vivekananda College of Engineering & Technology, Puttur, organized a workshop on LaTeX under the Ankuram Association on 11/05/2026 at 2:00 PM in Room A326. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Adithya G, Mr. Bhavish Kumar, Mr. Havyas B, Ms. Sushmitha, and Ms. Thrisha from II MCA.
The main objective of the workshop was to introduce students to LaTeX and its applications in preparing professional documents, project reports, and research papers. The resource persons explained basic LaTeX commands, document formatting, and the use of TeXstudio for creating academic documents.
The session was interactive and informative. Students actively participated and gained practical knowledge about preparing well-formatted technical documents using LaTeX. The workshop concluded successfully with positive feedback from the participants.
