
The Department of MBA organized a workshop on Financial Planning and Value Investing under life skill for the final year MBA students on 14th July 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The resource person for the session was Mr. Amrit Dutta, Trainer, Angel One Broking, Bengaluru.
The workshop aimed to enhance students’ understanding of personal financial planning and the principles of value investing. Mr. Dutta explained the importance of setting financial goals, budgeting, risk management, and developing disciplined investment habits. He introduced students to the fundamentals of value investing, emphasizing the evaluation of a company’s intrinsic value, long-term wealth creation, and informed investment decision-making. The session also covered practical aspects of stock market investing and common mistakes investors should avoid.
The interactive workshop included discussions and question-and-answer sessions, enabling students to clarify their doubts and gain practical insights into financial markets. The programme was highly informative and equipped the participants with valuable knowledge and skills for effective financial planning and investment management.
