Puttur, March 24, 2026: The Department of Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Vivekananda College of Engineering and Technology (VCET), Puttur, successfully organized “Tantrotsav 2026 – Project Expo” at Dr. APJ Hall on March 24, 2026.
The program commenced with an invocation rendered by Ms. Pranamya, I MCA, setting a positive tone for the event.
Dr. Rajeshwari M., Assistant Professor and Project Expo Coordinator, briefed the gathering about the remarkable achievements of MCA students who actively participated in Tantrotsav Project Expo 2026. She also highlighted the students’ active participation and achievements in various platforms such as Byndooru Utsav and the Sullia Project Expo, showcasing their innovation and technical expertise.
Dr. Jothimani K., Director – MCA, was the backbone of the program, extending her wholehearted support and ensuring meticulous planning and the successful execution of the event.
Our beloved Principal, Dr. Mahesh Prasanna K., addressed the gathering and appreciated the outstanding achievement of the department, highlighting that five projects from a single department were selected under the KSCST, which is a remarkable accomplishment.
The program was presided over by Sri Ravikrishna D. Kallaje, Director, VCET Governing Council, who appreciated the efforts of students and faculty in organizing such a successful and impactful event.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with more than 250 students, along with faculty members from various BCA and BSc institutions, visiting and exploring the project exhibits. The expo served as a platform for knowledge sharing, innovation, and practical learning.
The Project Expo concluded on a successful note, showcasing creativity, technical skills, and collaborative learning among students. The session was gracefully compered by Ms. Meghana, Final Year MCA.
