




The Department of Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Vivekananda College of Engineering & Technology, Puttur, proudly participated in the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) 49th Series Student Project Programme (SPP): 2025–26 Final Presentation, held at Adichunchanagiri University, BGS Institute of Technology, on 17th and 18th July 2026. Three student projects from the department were selected for the event. The projects “STEPVOLT: Sustainable Footstep Energy Generation and Utilization System” guided by Dr. Jothimani K and “Internet of Things Based KSRTC Local Bus Arrival and Departure Monitoring System” guided by Mr. Anirudha B. G. S. were selected for the Project Exhibition, where the student teams showcased their innovative solutions and interacted with the evaluation committee and visitors. The project “Automatic Power Line Fault Detection and Reporting System Using IoT”, guided by Mrs. Neema H., was selected for the Poster Presentation, providing an opportunity to present the project’s concept, methodology, and outcomes through a technical poster. The participation of these projects at the prestigious KSCST state-level event reflects the department’s commitment to fostering innovation, research, and experiential learning. The Management, Principal, faculty members, and students congratulated the project teams and guides for their achievement and wished them continued success in their future endeavors.
