Vivekananda College of Engineering and Technology inaugurated its MBA and MCA programs for the 2026-28 batch on 26th October 2026, organized by the postgraduate departments of MBA and MCA.
Chief guest Ms. Abhilasha Gaonkar, CEO of HRLytics Private Limited, Bengaluru, urged management students to understand emerging technologies and computer application students to gain managerial knowledge. She also stressed applying classroom learning practically, building good habits and contributing to society.
Principal Dr. Purushothama Chippar highlighted how AI, automation, digitalization and global connectivity are reshaping business, noting that adaptability and continuous learning are essential. He encouraged students to take part in academic and extracurricular activities.
Governing Council Director Sri Kuloor Subrahmanya Bhat, who presided, described learning as lifelong and asked students to respect their parents and teachers and serve society.
A video showcased the departments’ previous year achievements. Dr. Jothimani K. welcomed the gathering, Dr. Robin Manohar Shinde proposed the vote of thanks, and students Vaishnavi Rao and Jahnavi compered.
