The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Vivekananda College of Engineering, Puttur in association with ACES, in coordination with ISTE Student chapter and IEEE student chapter organized a Workshop on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning’ on 17th March 2022 to 1th 8 March 2022. Dr. SantoshParttar, Assistant Professor, BMS Institute of technology, Bangalore was the resource person.
The workshop was divided into two phases on both days. Sessions were Informative and students gained knowledge on AIDL through hands on experience.
Resource person Dr. SantoshParttar explained basics of AI and DL. Later students got information about various packages and methods which were essential for working with AI and DL. In the afternoon session students had hands on exercise on Titanic dataset and predict people who survived.
On the second day, resource person brought up with few more DL projects like Sentimental analysis of text, GAN, Human activity recognition and few more. They explained various methods and their use in those projects. In the end, Dr. SantoshParttar gave few ideas that can be implemented in near future projects.
