The Department of MBA & MCA, Vivekananda College of Engineering & Technology (VCET), Puttur, successfully organized “VIVEKA UTSAV”, a two-day commemorative program in honor of Swami Vivekananda, celebrating his timeless wisdom and inspiring legacy. The event was held on 9th and 10th January 2026 at the PG Block, VCET, Puttur.
VIVEKA UTSAV was organized with the objective of instilling values such as self-discipline, patriotism, leadership, and social responsibility among students, inspired by the teachings and ideals of Swami Vivekananda. The program served as a platform to reflect on his philosophy and its relevance in contemporary education and youth empowerment.
The event featured a series of Various competitions like Paper Collage, Rangoli, Elocution and Patriotic Group song Competition which encouraged students to express their understanding of Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts through art, speech, and performance. The enthusiastic participation from students of MBA and MCA added vibrancy and significance to the celebrations.
Faculty members actively guided and supported the students throughout the event, ensuring smooth coordination and meaningful engagement. The program fostered a sense of unity, discipline, and inspiration among the participants.
