Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with Rachana Enercare, Mysuru, had organized “Energy Conservation Audit: Objective & Methodology” on 24/06/2023 for invited guests from various reputed organizations of Puttur.
Mr.Anil Kumar Nadiger, Director, Rachana Ener Care, Mysuru gave a brief introduction on Energy Conservation and its Needs in the present scenario. He also covered the various activities of Energy Audit & Management which helps in conserving the energy and enhance its efficiency. It included Energy Conservation in Buildings, Power Quality Analysis, Solar Power System, Solar Pumping System, Green Audit, Environment and Health Safety in industry. He also emphasized that all the above services can be availed through the newly inaugurated Vivekananda Energy Management Center (VEMC) at VCET, Puttur.
The program was organized in Shree Rama Sabha Bhavana, VCET, Puttur with around 50+ participants from various reputed organizations across Puttur. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Mr.Anil Kumar Nadiger, Director, Rachana Ener Care, Mysuru. Dr Manujesh B. J. HOD Dept. of Mechanical Engg. presided over the function. Prof. Harish S. R. Welcomed the gathering and Prof. Naveen S.P. proposed vote of thanks.
