| The Department of MBA, Vivekananda College of Engineering and Technology, Puttur, in association with Toastmasters International, organized a Division F Demo Meeting on 15th October 2025 at Savarkar Sabhabhavana. The theme of the session was “Invest to Harvest – Nurture Your Skills, Reap the Rewards.” The event aimed to help students enhance their communication and leadership skills through the globally recognized Toastmasters framework. The session began with a warm welcome and introduction by TM Mrs Samatha, setting an energetic tone for the meeting. Dr. Meera Rao, DTM and Division Director, served as the Grammarian, guiding participants on the importance of effective language use and articulation. TM Dr Bharathi Shetty conducted an engaging Table Topics session, encouraging spontaneous speaking and quick thinking among participants. Mr Skanda delivered a Prepared Speech, demonstrating confidence and structured delivery, while TM Mrs Sandhya Nayak provided an insightful evaluation, highlighting key strengths and areas for improvement. MBA students Mr Abhishek and Ms Vaishnavi efficiently handled the roles of Ah-Counter and Timer, ensuring the meeting maintained its flow and discipline. Prof. Ashley D’Souza, the event coordinator, facilitated smooth organization and active participation. The session witnessed enthusiastic involvement from MBA, MCA, and third-year BE students, along with faculty members, who appreciated the interactive and motivational learning experience. The event successfully demonstrated how Toastmasters transforms potential into power to communicate, lead, and inspire. The demo meeting was an inspiring initiative that motivated students to invest in personal growth and confidence building through effective communication. |
