Talk on “Women and Child Rights”

Constitution day 2021 was celebrated by the College Internal Complaint Committee(CICC)-VCET on 26th November 2021 at Sri Rama Sabha Bhavana.

Mrs. K S Lalitha, Women and Child rights activist, Bengaluru has been the Chief guest of the function and delivered a guest lecture on “Women and Child Rights”. Resource person shared her views about need of women and child rights during the present scenario. She also appreciated the rights what we have in India compared to other countries. She advised women and children to claim the rights when the situations suppressed in family or society. She also requested to identify victims and bring them to the umbrella of women and childcare society which gives solution to many problems.

Dr. Sowmya N J, Chairman of CICC-VCET welcomed the gathering and Prof. Roopa G K, Convener of CICC-VCET delivered vote of thanks. Prof. Nisha G R, Asst. Professor, Department of ECE was the master of ceremony. All ladies faculties were the part of the program and few students from various branches attended the talk.
