The inauguration ceremony of the student association ‘Ankuram’ of the Department of MCA was held on 21-01-2025 in Visvesvaraya Hall Krishna Chethana Block. The event aimed to foster collaboration, innovation, and holistic development among the students of the department. The program began with an invocation to seek blessings, followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Ms Jovita , Student coordinator. The event was graced by the presence of Sri Ravikrishna D Kallaje, Director,VCET governing Council Puttur who inaugurated the association by lighting the lamp and delivered an inspiring keynote address. He highlighted the need for continuous learning, leadership, and teamwork among students to thrive in their professional careers. Director of MCA Dr. Jothimani K elaborated on the objectives and vision of ‘Ankuram.’ The association aims to organize technical workshops, seminars, and cultural activities to enhance both technical proficiency and interpersonal skills among students.The program also included Prize distribution program showcasing the talents and enthusiasm of the students. The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms Vandya 2nd year MCA Student followed by Freshers day. The event set the stage for a promising year ahead, with students showing great enthusiasm to contribute and participate in upcoming initiatives under the banner of ‘Ankuram’.
