Kalakadana 2022 was conducted by the Bhoomika Kala Sangha- Cultural and Extra Curricular Cell (CECC) on 28th October 2022 as a part of student induction programme for second semester students at Krishna Chethana Block, Open Lounge.
Students of second semester were grouped as per their divisions and performed a theme based cultural show for half an hour each. The show was included Indian Classical Dance, Songs, Group dances from different Indian traditions, Skits, different art forms and many more. Prof. Harshitha from Department of Data Science and Prof. Neema H. from department of MCA were the event judges from faculty end. Ms. Chaithra Bhat and Ms. Rachana from third year engineering were the student judges.
Ms. Dharithri A. from final year CSE was announced as Cultural Secretory of the institution and Ms. Chaithra Bhat as the joint Secretory. The championship was bagged by Division C and runner up by Division B. The students were awarded with the cash prize from esteem Governing Council the same day evening on Deepavali Celebration main stage. The program was coordinated by Prof. Sudarshana M. L. Dept of Mechanical Engineering and co-coordinated by Prof. Shwethambika. P. Dept of chemistry with the involvement and contribution of all fellow colleagues of CECC and students.
