On the occasion of International Democracy Day, a Human Chain Program was organized by VCET, Puttur, on 15th September 2024. The event took place between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM, with students forming a human chain spanning the areas of Kabaka, Mura, and Nehru Nagar in Puttur. This initiative, part of a government directive, aimed to promote awareness about democracy and foster civic engagement. The event saw enthusiastic participation from both undergraduate and postgraduate students of VCET. The Principal and staff of the institution were also present, lending their support and encouraging the students. Their presence highlighted the importance of the occasion and strengthened the sense of community within the institution. The event was well-coordinated by the organizing team, highlighting the successful execution and the meaningful impact it had on the participants and the local community.
