CODE MANTHAN ’25, a major hackathon organized by the Artificial Intelligence Students Association (AISA) in collaboration with the IEEE Student Branch and the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc), was successfully inaugurated at Savarkar Sabhabhavana, Vivekananda College of Engineering and Technology (VCET), Puttur.
The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Sri T. S. Subrahmanya Bhat, Correspondent, VCET Governing Council, who encouraged students to make the best use of this platform to enhance their learning and innovation skills.

Dr. Jeevitha B. K, IEEE Student Branch Counselor and Associate Professor, Department of CSE, congratulated the participants and motivated them to explore their potential in Artificial Intelligence and related technologies.
Prof. Ajay Shastry C. G, AISA Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Department of AIML, introduced the objectives and vision of the hackathon.

Prof. Abhishek Kumar K, Head of the Department of AIML, was also present on the dais.
The event began with a warm welcome address by Anagha, final-year student and AISA President, followed by compering by Meghana K. N. and a prayer by Akhila Karuvaje.





The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Balasubrahmanya, student coordinator of CODE MANTHAN ’25, who expressed gratitude to the faculty members, IEEE representatives, and students for their support and participation.
CODE MANTHAN ’25 saw enthusiastic participation from over 110 teams and more than 300 students from various departments and interdisciplinary teams, showcasing creativity, teamwork, and technical excellence.
