The Department of MCA in association with Ankuram, organized Code-A-Thon, an internal-level hackathon aimed at nurturing problem-solving skills among MCA students. The event featured 14 teams, each comprising 6 members. Teams were presented with 4 real-life problem statements, from which they chose one through a slot-picking process to develop a viable solution.
The event was inaugurated by Sri. Ravikrishna D Kallaje, Director, VCET Governing Council. The judging panel included Prof. Pradeep Kumar K G, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and Dr. Jeevitha B K, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, VCET, Puttur. The event provided a great platform for students to showcase their technical and collaborative skills.
Latheesh K and team emerged as the winners, while Bhuvan Shetty and team secured the second prize. The event served as an excellent platform for students to demonstrate their technical expertise and teamwork.
