An Interactive session on “Awareness on Khadi & Village industry commission (KVIC) and its schemes” was organized by “Entrepreneurship development cell (ED Cell), VCET, Puttur, Dakshina kannada, Karnataka on 17/11/2021, Wednesday at 12.00pm for students of 3 rd year and final year VCET, Puttur. Main objective of this session was to create awareness about various schemes of KVIC & PMEGP, Entrepreneurship training’s available under KVIC and also to motivate students towards Entrepreneurship. Program commenced at 12.00pm. Dr. Mahesh Prasanna, Principal, VCET welcomed all the guests to the program. Dr. Mohan Rao, Director, KVIC, Banglaore inaugurated the function by lightning the lamp. Dr. Manujesh B J, Coordinator of ED cell & HOD, Me, VCET introduced the Guest to audience. Mr. P S Balakrishnan, Assistant Director of KVIC, Bangalore addressed students about KVIC schemes and govt. initiations towards supporting small scale industries and Entrepreneurs. Staff coordinators of ED cell Mr. Raghavendra Prasad S.A, assistant prof., ME, Mr. Naveen C, Assistant prof., EC and Ms. Thapaswini, Assistant prof., CSE, VCET and Non teaching staff were present during the session. At the end of the session Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Manujesh B J, Coordinator of ED cell & HOD, Me, VCET.
