The Department of MCA, Vivekananda College of Engineering & Technology, Puttur, successfully organized an session on “Internship Guidelines” for final-year MCA students. The event was conducted on 27 January 2026 at Dr. Abdul Kalam Hall from 9.30 AM to 12.00 PM.
The session was delivered by Prof. Mohan K, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, VCET Puttur. The objective of the session was to create awareness among students about the importance of internships, institutional guidelines, and the procedures to be followed for successful completion. He told about eligibility criteria, duration of internship, and approved domains as per the academic curriculum. He clearly explained the process of applying for internships, including identification of companies, obtaining permission from the department, and maintaining proper documentation. He highlighted the importance of daily work logs, internship reports, completion certificates, and evaluation methods.
Overall, the session was highly informative and beneficial. It provided students with a clear roadmap for planning and completing their internships effectively.
