About Department
The Placement Cell serves as a cornerstone of our institution’s commitment to student success and industry engagement. Each year, over 100 + renowned companies participate in our campus recruitment drives, offering diverse roles across leading sectors. The highest package to date has been an outstanding ₹15 LPA, while the average package stands at ₹4.75 LPA, reflecting strong placement outcomes. The cell operates under the strategic leadership of Ms. Vandana Shankar and is further strengthened by a proactive team comprising Mr. Guyton Lobo, Ms. Megha, Ms. Sheethal S. K., and Mr. Chandappa. Together, we ensure a seamless placement process and foster enduring corporate relationships that empower students to embark on successful professional journeys.

- To act as a liaison between the industry and institution order to promote Training and Placements thereby enhancing career growth of the students.
Objectives
- Create awareness among students regarding available career options and help them in identifying their career objectives.
- Develop the department of Placement & Training as a nodal point for Training and career orientation.
- Identify suitable potential employers and help them achieve their hiring goals.
- Institute the best practices in conducting and co-ordinating the campus placement process for the industries in the institution.
Rules and Regulations
Final year students are eligible for Campus recruitments provided he/she meets the requirements specified by the Company or the Training & Placement Department.
The department strictly follows the policy of “One student, One Job Offer”.
Candidates are however permitted to apply for an extra job with the State and Central Government sector.
Students from core engineering streams can take a core offer in addition to the offer from Software/IT Companies.
Off-Campus offers generated through the department will be considered as campus recruits.
Students must abide by the formal Dress Code for all placement activities.
Direct communication of students with the company officials is prohibited.
Attendance of shortlisted/eligible students for placement drive is mandatory.
Students may be blacklisted from the placement if he/she is found involved in any act of indiscipline.
Students giving wrong information to the placement department will be blacklisted from the placement activities.
A disciplinary action will be taken against the shortlisted students who drop themselves from the selection process.
Serious action will be taken on students who have been reported with misconduct by the stakeholders.
Placement is a privilege extended to the students but can’t be claimed as a matter of right.
These guidelines are framed to ensure equality and fairness of opportunity to all the students.Breaking of formulated rules of will lead to severe disciplinary action.
T&P Department reserves all rights to modify any or all of the above norms and/or stipulate additional norms for placements which, in its judgment and discretion are likely to benefit the students.
Keeping the company’s convenience in the view, selection processes may take place in any city/town or Pool colleges in the state.The students are expected to make their own travel arrangements and bear the cost of attending such drives.
Training
We offer structured training in Aptitude, Soft Skills, Technical Skills, Mock Interviews, and Company-Specific Preparation. To ensure consistent improvement, daily assessments are conducted as a regular practice.
Our collaboration with leading training partners like QSpiders, 10 Seconds, and Ethnus brings industry-relevant expertise, helping students confidently face recruitment challenges.
