About Computer Science & Engineering:

The Department of Computer Science was established in the year 2001 with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science. The Department has modern facilities for teaching, learning and research. The department has dedicated, qualified and experienced faculty members to guide the students in academics. With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation, the Department has produced quality professionals holding important positions in the IT industry in India and abroad.

  3. Promote design, research, product implementation and services in the field of Computer Science and Engineering through strong technical, communication and entrepreneurial skills.


Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs) Computer Science Engineering Graduates will be able to:
  1. Ability to identify, formulate and simulate problems in the area of Computer Networks and Digital image processing.

  2. Ability to apply analyze, design, develop, and test principles of System software and Database concepts for computer-based systems.

  3. Ability to apply concepts of computer architecture and organization to meet desired needs of modern computer technology.

  • The Department of Computer Science & Engineering is providing high quality education, along with training the students with all the new advancements in the Computers field.

  • The learned and skilled Faculties of Department give prominence on all the important aspects of Computers, such as Data Structures, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Computer Networks, Compiler Design, Operating Systems, System Software, Database Management Systems, Computer Graphics and Visualization, Software Architecture, Cloud Computing, and many more.

  • The Department also takes initiative to improve the Soft Skills, Analytical Capabilities and Verbal Communication of the students, so that they can face the global competition.

  • The focus of the programs is on experiential learning implemented through course projects, mini projects and a major project along with seminars and assignments.

  • The Department encourages and motivates the Students to attend conferences and workshops and publish papers in national / international conferences / journals. The Department also encourages Students to submit project proposal to funding agencies.
