Computer  Science & Engineering has emerged from the fusion of computer science and electrical and electronics engineering. Computer software engineers apply the principles and techniques of computer science, engineering and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing and evaluation of software and systems. The integration of Internet Technologies and the explosive growth in electronic commerce and business on the Internet have resulted in a rising demand for Information Technology Engineers who can develop Internet, Intranet and World Wide Web applications and networks.

The department of Computer Science Engineering and Information Science Engineering was established in the year 2001. The departmental associations ACES and Info.SEA conduct various co-curricular activities to Widen the students interest in their own domain as well as in allied subjects.
The departments have the following laboratories with the latest software and hardware configurations. Free Internet facility is made available from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm during working days through high speed optical fiber 32 Mbps leased line of BSNL.
